As a Green Team Member, you will play a vital role in promoting and educating customers about renewable energy solutions in a retail environment. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with customers, provide information about renewable energy products and services, and enroll interested customers in renewable energy programs or initiatives. By working face-to-face with customers, you will help drive the adoption of sustainable energy practices and contribute to a greener future.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Education and Engagement:

  • Engage with customers in a friendly and approachable manner, creating awareness and interest in renewable energy solutions.
  • Educate customers about the benefits of renewable energy, including cost savings, environmental impact, and long-term sustainability.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of various renewable energy technologies, such as solar power, wind energy, and geothermal systems.
  • Provide clear and accurate information about available incentives, rebates, and financing options related to renewable energy adoption.
  • Answer customer questions and address concerns regarding renewable energy products, installation, and maintenance.

Enrollment and Consultation:

  • Identify potential customers who are interested in transitioning to renewable energy sources.
  • Conduct thorough consultations with customers to assess their energy needs, property suitability, and financial considerations.

Recommend appropriate renewable energy solutions based on the customer's requirements and budget.

  • Explain the process of installing renewable energy systems, including timelines, permits, and any necessary paperwork.
  • Assist customers in completing enrollment forms, contracts, and other relevant documentation. Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, providing ongoing support and addressing any post-installation concerns or inquiries.
  • Keep accurate records of customer interactions, including contact information, preferences, and project details.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with their renewable energy systems and address any performance issues.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (some positions may require a college degree).
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or a related field is preferred.
  • Passion for renewable energy and a strong commitment to environmental sustainability.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to establish rapport with customers and effectively address their concerns or objections.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage customer documentation and follow-up activities.
  • Familiarity with renewable energy technologies and related industry standards.
  • Proficiency in using technology tools such as CRM software, presentation software, and other sales-related applications.
  • Flexibility to work in a retail environment, including weekends and occasional off-site events.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $755.00 - $900.00 per week
